    " REHABILITATION CENTRE FOR THE COMMUNICATION IMPAIRED "

• WHAT IS RCCI?  

 RCCI stands for the Rehabilitation centre for the communication Impaired. It involves differently abled people aged between 7-40 that join the Osc students every Thursday afternoon. The main aim of our project is to develop the physical skills of these kids by involving them in various physical activities. due to communication problem, it is sometimes hard for us to understand them but we as a group, try our best to help them.

How we help disabled children in RCCI ?

like you can see that in this picture we are playing volley ball with them for movement of there hands. like we can see that they also enjoying to play with balls and they like to run.

we are different types of games with them. RCCI is one of the organisation which help these types of abled people alote.

• In RCCI we take all the children on the field or the basketball court and we playing games and after that we talking with them sometimes and after we give them some jucies to drink and then they go to there school.

• From the RCCI i learning that language is very important for these types of work because i am from India and i can't understand what they are speaking some children's are in group who speak English but most of them are speaking shinhala languag. RCCI is the CAS were we working in a group without collaboration this CAS is not going to happen because we have to see all the children's so we need the students for seeing them and take care of them.

• These children those who are coming in Thursday in our school  i saw them first time and it was very horrible time for me because all the children start looking at me very horribly and i was scared that time but after sometime they were adjust with me like as a friend and then it was going good with all of them .
