service

                                                                           Service
Service is a very big part in our CAS. In service we have different types of global services which conducted in world we are trying to help them and support them. I was in RCCI service. RCCI stands for “Rehabilitation Centre for the communication impaired”. In this service there are kids who are physically challenged. But I changed my service and I am in SOS which stands for “Save Our Souls”. In this service we are trying to help kids those who are orphan they don’t have their parents. We spent time with them and talk with them but we trying to not talk about their families. In this service communication is really hard thing because those kids don’t know English so we can’t understand their language but we are trying to learn some words.  When we started this service this year these kids are new so they are trying to adjusting with us we knowing each other. We have our group partner and we have two kids in a group were we played with them. It our responsibility to care them because they are small kids and it’s our responsibilities no one be rude to them and all. We have to open minded in this service we have to share different thoughts what we think how we help those kids by doing different things. We started this service with buddy class were group member engaged with one kid and teach them something after that we have a session on swimming pool we are thinking that in months we doing differnet activites this is our last swimming session after this we are doing other activity. This service engage with global issues also.

Cricket

We are doing cricket as our after school action. This is an after school activity where lots of kids join us and play cricket with us. I am the group leader of cricket action. I am going to reflect my action. In cricket we started lots of different things with them so that they can learn very fast. First thing I communicated with each of then when I’m teaching something so that I can know easily how they learning from me. After that we started teaching them useful skills which helps them to their skills. In skills lots of things counts like batting bowling is common but how to throw the ball the hand movement when you throw the ball when you batting your hand movement should be good so you can hit properly. My aim is to make them risk takers because when they saw a ball they scared of that so right now me and my partner working on it.  I have to make them good cricketer and they can play anywhere they want.  We started our activity by practicing some of these skills which helps us and them to refresh all of them and they feel comfortable. As a group leader I have to be care for each and every child because in our activity we have lots of low grades kids also so we have to see them and care them if they want any help I have to be there.

As you can see in this picture after the all the practice the skill we arrange the matches between two teams. Which helps a lot for us to see them how are they using their knowledge about cricket skills.  They enjoys playing matches a lot we did this match in every class. When they playing match as a group leader I have to think about them what new skills I can tell them in next class and where they doing wrong I have to see each and every child.

You can see in this picture Ashab is batting. He is also in our activity. When we started this activity in 11 grade, he needs some batting skills so, he is with us for 2 year this is his 2nd year and he plays a lot better than last year.
